I studied B. Optom at Rand Afrikaans University, now known as University of Johannesburg, from 2003 and qualified in 2006. After that I worked in Norwood for two and a half years and then moved to the West Rand where I have been practicing optometry until we bought over the practice from Dr. Van Gool in November 2014.

My patients! I love interacting and helping people. Every patient is unique and special. I’ve realized that even though doing the same thing every day might become monotone for some people, each patient is very different, with their own stories, unique visual needs and different personalities and THAT makes my work fun.

That one is difficult to answer – it all depends on my mood. But I like soft colours like mint green and peach.

I believe God loves everyone and it is my motto in life to show His love to the people I encounter.

ALWAYS listen to your Optometrist! We have your best interest at heart and want you to have the best eyesight you can have for as long as you can. Sight is very important, and you only realize how much when something goes wrong – don’t wait till that happens, love your eyes now.

5 years now, I started in 2012 at a practice in Centurion. I have been at EyeLove Optometrist since December 2014, 1 month after the practice opened.

I enjoy working with people. Assisting in making our patients' life easier and more comfortable by improving their vision, while looking great with the correct frame choice is my passion.

I don’t have a favourite colour, but I do like bright colours.

Be good to your eyes. There is so many factors that can affect your vision. By doing small things early on, like wearing sunglasses or putting an Anti-glare coating on your spectacle lenses for computer work, can slow down or even prevent damage to your eye health and vision later in life.
