Welcome to EyeLove optometrist. We are a privately owned practice operating in Flora Centre, Florida, Roodepoort.
We aim for our practice to reflect our core values; to deliver good service with a personal touch.
Our mission is to make optometry more "user-friendly", so that you can love your eyes as much as we do.

Since 1974
The practice was opened in October 1974, a few months after the completion and opening of Flora Centre. At that time it was the first shopping centre on the West Rand! It created much interest and excitement.
Dr Robert and Renee van Gool provided the primary vision care in the practice from that time until their retirement in October 2014, an uninterrupted 40 years!
Products we stock
Our eyewear brands range from Adidas, Stepper and Reserve to Bavino, Ripple and Beyond - that all depends on your taste and budget, as long as you can see better and stay beautiful.
Our product offerings goes beyond eye wear, we also stock contact lenses, accessories and non prescription eye drops.

Services we offer
The frequency of eye examinations necessary depends on the patient's age, condition of eyes and visual system and whether the patient is using contact lenses or spectacle correction.
A comprehensive eye examination at least every 2 years are recommended. Regular eye exams are important to ensure optimal visual performance and for early detection of eye conditions.
